Dr Avarbock tutored me through Step 1 and recently though my first shelf exam where I got a high pass. My goal from the beginning of dental school was to get into an oral surgery program. I knew that I would need a high score on the CBSE to get accepted into a program. I was scoring in the low 60’s on self-assessments when I started with Dr. Avarbock. My score on my first CBSE attempt was 74%. I lacked a comprehensive study plan and outline, which he provided me with, and he helped narrow down the resources I should use to study.
